Wednesday 1st Feb Training at Old Hall - CANCELLED

Due to the freezing conditions expected tomorrow evening and in the interests of safety we have decided to cancel training at Old Hall on Wednesday night this week.

Saturday 4th Feb - REMINDER

It is the final training session with Robbie in Christleton Sports Centre at 9am on Saturday. It would be good to see all the lads there.

Kick off for the home fixtures is 10.30 so if you are in the team you can both train and play.

Awesome performance from all the lads against vicars cross today. Goals from Jacob(2), Charlie and Leo with support from a dynamic midfield, rock solid defence and a safe pair of hands in goal resulted in a convincing victory. Man of the match - all the lads! Thanks for possibly the best team performance of the season so far! You make the coaches proud.

Training with Everton Academy on Tuesday 21st February

Everton Academy training will take place on Tuesday 21st February between 5pm and 6pm at Cheshire Oaks High School, Stanney Lane, Ellesmere port, CH65 9DB.

AFC Waverton Open Evening on 25th January

AFC Waverton is holding an “Open Evening” on Wednesday 25th January from 7.30 – 8.30pm at Christleton Primary School. At this meeting, we will be sharing a bit more about the Club, it’s history, it’s present status – but more importantly we will be sharing a bit more about the future development of the Club and the opportunities for you to get involved.

Since its formation approx 14 years ago, AFC Waverton has grown into the largest Junior Football Club in the Chester and District League and one of the largest and most successful in the whole of Cheshire. With success comes the need for an ever growing team of volunteers to help run and administer the Club and as it enters it’s next stage of development and growth, we are looking for additional input from parents/guardians who are willing to get involved in the exciting future of the Club.

We would like to encourage as many as possible to come along to find out more about the Club and if you could join us on the 25^th  we would be delighted to see you there.

Note that U7s Training at Old Hall will be cancelled on the 25th.

Saturday 21st January Training update

Saturday Training is ON for all at Christleton Sports Hall on 21, 28 Jan & 4 Feb. The session will start PROMTLY at 9am.  Cost £2 per child. Robbie (Tranmere Rovers) will be leading these sessions.

The Everton Training session is still to be confirmed. Watch this space for details.
